2024 Stallion Service Contract - Fabregas

Fabregas is the immensely charming son of the duplicate World Champion Florencio, who set standards with his victory scores of 9.5 and 9.8. He also garnered the reserve champion of Germany title at Bundeschampionat. Dam-sire, De Niro, was also no stranger to success as the reserve champion in the 1997 stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, winning the dressage portion, numerous Grand Prix wins throughout his career, and 2008 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. Fabregas' pedigree is full of stallions on both sides that have ranked numerous times in World Breeding Federation of Sport Horses Top 100 Sires.

Fabregas is approved Verband hannoverscher Warmblutzüchter e. V. and Verband der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes e.V. in Europe as well as the American Hanoverian Society, American Rhineland Studbook, Canadian Sport Horse Association, Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association, North American Department of the Royal Warmblood Studbook of the Netherlands, and the Oldenburg Horse Breeder’s Society in North America.

Fabregas was Dressage Reserve Champion in the riding portion of his Adelheidsdorf 70 day performance test in 2009 with a result of 134.27 points. He was imported to Canada by Parkwood Stables in 2011 and competed with Inga Hamilton  through the levels to Grand Prix in 2019 - all the while maintaining an active breeding schedule. 

 

He was purchased by Oakwood Farms in November 2019 and stood his 2020 breeding season at the farm. He has continued his training and competition schedule under rider / trainer Meg Williams further developing his skills and strength at the Grand Prix level.  

He has established himself in the Grand Prix ring with numerous wins to his name including 2021 USDF Region 2 Grand Prix Regional Champion.  Along with his talent comes a desire to work and the ridability that makes the training an always enjoyable process!  

 

Meg and Fabregas plan to continue their competition schedule in the Grand Prix while maintaining his active breeding schedule in 2024.  

FabregasOffspring

Fabregas has produced numerous Champions at inspections and shows in Germany, Great Britain, Canada and the U.S. Fabregas has produced two licensed stallion sons, numerous Elite and State Premium mares, as well as many award-winning foals.

Fabregas offspring are known for their good minded temperaments and trainability. He passes on his correctness, typey looks, elasticity and beautiful gaits. In addition, He is crossing beautifully with our Widmark daughters - creating truly exceptional offspring with high ridabiliity and superb temperaments - desired by both Amateurs and Professionals alike. 

Included below is Feriado (Fabregas/Riccione), one of two licensed stallions Fabregas produced in Germany before his move to North America.  Ferido was licensed in 2011 This black stallion was awarded premium status (Prämienlot der Süddeutschen Körung in München) and won the South German Championship for 4 year old stallions in 2015.
