From the start of her career as a broodmare, Wroyal Abbey has been a super producer for us! Her mother, Flair, was one of our most popular broodmares and already quite ridable herself - then add Widmark to further increase ridability and you have got yourself quite the horse.
Abbey, as she is known at the farm, was started under saddle then completed her Mare Inspection and Mare Performance Test in 2018. This, along with her first foal in 2019, makes her a Premium Mare. She consistently adds to the walk and trot, producing talented horses that are already starting to make a name for themselves in clinics and the show ring with amateur and professional riders alike!
In July 2025, Abbey and her colt that year attended the NDPC at WEC Ohio. This was her first show and first trip off the farm but she handled herself with the poise and experience of a seasoned show horse! Scoring a 77.1% earned her many awards: First Place - 4 Year Old and Older Broodmare, Champion -Mare Championship, Champion - Mature Horse Championship, and Reserve Champion - Grand Championship.
